LIGHTING AND LENSING WORKSHOP DAY - 1

First session-

To begin with lighting and lensing workshop on the first day, the main motive is to understand one another and work together as a team. It also talks about perspective, how each individual’s bring up different view point though it dealt with the same subject. We only set certain rules.
Rule no 1. - Swift off the phone.
Rule no. 2. - Be in time.

If anyone fails to do so, the class will remain suspense or may be called as a day off.

Experiencing with an experience teacher allows me to understand myself and grow. He taught us the basic rules of film making by maintaining sets of disciplines.

Second session-   We were asked to get one camera each. After that he gives us a title ‘bridge’ and in which we were asked to take a photograph.
After 40 minutes, we assemble again in classroom and discuss about the photographs by giving measure feedbacks, point of view and suggestion from the students and faculty.

    The bridge1 -

Shutter speed- 1/80, Aperture – 8.0, ISO – 100, Len- Normal lens.
My intention here is to create depth to the bridge with the branches of trees in the foreground.  The line of water leads to the viewer to the bridge.

 The bridge 2.

Shutter speed- 1/250, Aperture – 8.0, ISO – 100, Len-wide lens.
Like the above image  -my intention here is to create depth to the bridge with the branches of trees in the foreground  by making  the image darker.

FOCAL LENGTH OF AN HUMAN EYE

Focal length of an human eye changes with the distance.

a.)WHEN WE LOOK AT FAR OBJECT , OUR LENS BECOMES THIN AND THE CURVATURE IS BIGGER THAN THE NORMAL EYE.
b) WHEN WE LOOK AT NEAR OBJECT , OUR LENS BECOMES SMALL AND THE CURVATURE IS SMALLER THAN THE NORMAL EYE..
